Kizomba events in Copenhagen

Kizomba is a newer addition to Copenhagen's social dance calendar compared to salsa and bachata, with a smaller but growing number of events as more dancers discover the style's slower, close-embrace partner work. Originating in Angola and related to semba, kizomba has become popular across European dance scenes over the past decade, and Copenhagen's own community is still forming around a handful of regular organizers and occasional workshop nights. If you're new to kizomba, a workshop night is usually the easiest way in: most pair a short lesson with social dancing afterwards. Below is the current list of upcoming kizomba events in Copenhagen on SocialDance; check back regularly, as this is one of the fastest-growing categories on the site. In the meantime, Copenhagen's salsa and bachata scenes run far more frequently if you're looking for something to dance to this week, and both communities welcome dancers coming over from kizomba.
